Use this free Black Friday discount calculator to compare the price you usually see for an item against its current sale offer, including added charges. It helps you spot the difference between an advertised percentage and a more meaningful saving.
Compare your real, recent usual price — not an inflated suggested retail price.
The current checkout estimate is $450.00.
How is a genuine Black Friday saving calculated?
Dollar saving = usual recent price − (sale price + added fees). Percent saving = dollar saving ÷ usual recent price × 100.
For example, an item normally selling for $600 and offered for $450 without extra fees saves $150, or 25%. But if its usual price was only $470, saving $20 is more meaningful than an advertisement claiming a much larger markdown from a suggested list price.
What counts as the usual price?
Use a recent representative price from reputable retailers for the exact product variant. Avoid choosing an unusually high one-day price just to make the result look larger. For electronics, confirm model, storage size, color and refurbished/new condition match.
Does this tool track live deals?
No. It does not connect to retailer inventories, scrape live listings or provide verified price histories. You supply the prices, and all calculations happen directly in your browser; no price data is sent to this site by the calculator itself.
